A Chinese martial art from SE China based on the mythical Chinese creature known as the Chi Lin.  A Chi Lin is a unicorn like animal that is comprised of many different types of animals. The Chi Lin is able to change quickly into different animals and strategies to best fit with its environment.  It is therefore, an art of adaptability and energy.  Chi Lin is a very powerful and efficient martial art intended for real world combat situations and personal development.  Practicing Chi Lin will develop health, strength, and power from the inside-out, and allow the practitioner to begin feeling their energy and the energy of others, ultimately leading to the neutralization of an attack within seconds!

Ba Gua Zhang

Cheng BaGua Zhang

Cheng BaGua Zhang

Ba Gua is an amazing martial art and training paradigm known for its training method of circle walking.  Like Taiji, Ba Gua Zhang is a Chinese internal martial art, but not as well known.  Ba Gua is considered by many to be 'the king of internal martial arts!'  Taught mostly in secret,  it was the official martial art of the royal bodyguards in imperial China.  Ba Gua is known for its emphasis on circles and spirals and developing a very powerful 'Ba Gua body.'  Ba Gua masters have always been known for their longevity and the ability to fight many attackers at once.  Dr. Griffiths mainly teaches Ba Gua along with Chi Lin kung fu and Taiji Quan, however exceptions are made for those seeking private instruction.  The primary styles taught are Cheng Style and Liu style Ba Gua Zhang.  Other styles may be referred to and practiced as well, but authenticity of the particular style will be always preserved as Dr. G has been taught.
